About this file
This document contains the pre-bid meeting minutes and agenda for the CBJTC Museum Storage Facility, Bldg 3016 project, which is a construction solicitation issued by the State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs. The project involves the repair and renovation of an existing 1940-built, unconditioned wood frame structure located at the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Florida. The existing building will be removed down to the foundation, and a new 3,000 square foot climate-controlled storage facility will be constructed utilizing the existing concrete foundation and slab. The new facility will provide storage space for sensitive artifacts, including clothing, vehicles, documents, weapons, and photographs, for the Camp Blanding Museum. The pre-bid meeting covered details such as working hours, background checks for personnel, availability of on-site amenities, and permitting requirements. Two addendums have been issued to date, which bidders must acknowledge on the Bid Proposal Form.
The estimated construction cost for this project is $807,239.00. Bidders are required to obtain necessary building permits from local authorities, with the exception of the Fire Marshal permit, which is under the jurisdiction of the State. The project funding source is not explicitly stated in the provided information.
