About this file

This is an Addendum 2 to the Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2026-14 issued by the Town of Farragut, Tennessee for Wayfinding Sign Fabrication and Installation. The project requires a contractor to fabricate, deliver, and install a comprehensive wayfinding signage program throughout the Town. The sign types include gateway monuments (horizontal, vertical, and limited space configurations), town center gateways, directional signs, street identification signs (post-mounted and mast arm), permanent banners, parking and facility identification, kiosks, and history tour markers. The addendum extended the sealed bid submission deadline to Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., to be received at the Town of Farragut Municipal Center, 11408 Municipal Center Drive, Farragut, Tennessee 37934. A pre-bid vendor meeting was conducted on October 15, 2025, and the transcript and Microsoft Teams recording are available to all interested parties. The project includes specific sign drawings, message schedules, and location plans organized by zones, with installation across multiple locations throughout the Town.

The addendum clarifies that the Town of Farragut does not provide preferences for women-owned business enterprises (WBEs) and does not object to vendors' standard billing terms that include deposits for manufacturing phases. Contractors must bid the project per all drawings, with any deviations requiring advance submission and approval. All sign locations must be verified against corrected sign type drawings, message schedules, and location plans, as the initial installation locations document contained incorrect sign type associations. Lane closures will be required for mast arm street sign installations at major intersections, and the contractor is responsible for providing traffic control. The contractor must obtain all permits from both the Town and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) for any locations within the TDOT right-of-way, though the Town will cover its own permit fees. The warranty period is twelve months from final completion as specified in Section 4.9 of the Performance Specifications. The Town is tax-exempt, and a deviation from Waybaytay Holdings dated October 12, 2025, has been approved and attached as Exhibit C. All RFP communications must be submitted via email to Anissa Pratte, Staff Accountant at apratte@townoffarragut.org, who serves as the sole point of contact.

Q2. Our HQ requires a deposit to commence work. 25% initially, then another 25% after submittal approval to move into Manufacturing. We bill the remainder as installation completes.

Does this billing approach raise any concerns for you and the Town of Farragut?

A2. No the Town does not have any concerns with this and will work with the awarded vendor on terms during the contract negotiation phase.

Q3 & A3. Sign Type A2 Gateway Limited Space:

• Regarding the 1” box: Please provide cost for producing sign as indicated on the DI drawing (so we have apples to apples comparison), as well as the cost for the suggested deviation.

• Regarding: You might have to consider not having the bottom outer “ring”. You also will need to weld the transition section so that will not allow you to slide the cover up or down to be able to secure the baseplate to the breakaways. We could make a slip cover to go on after installation to “hide” the breakaways. - This is an acceptable change.

Bid the project per all drawings. All deviations must be submitted in advance for approval.

The Farragut - installation locations.pdf document DOES NOT SHOW THE CORRECT SIGN

TYPES associated with the locations. Please refer to the attached sign drawings, message schedule and location plans for correct sign types associated with each location. This should solve the fit/terrain concerns. See Exhibit B

As far as terrain and specific locations, we will meet with the selected manufacturer/installer on site to verify all locations. IF there is earthwork involved it will be done by the Town not the vendor.

Q4. For the installation of the mast arm street sign at major intersections, will lane closures be required?

A4. Yes

Q5. Who will be responsible for providing traffic control lane closures?

A5. The contractor should provide.

Q6. Are work hours restricted at any of the sign locations?

A6. No

Q7. Are there any proposed sign locations in the TDOR right-of-way?

A7. Yes. The Town has not obtained the permits. The contractor should obtain all permits, State and Town.

Q8. Please confirm warranty period.

A8. Section 4.9 of the Performance Specifications on page iii refers to warranty expectations.

Q9. Is the Town tax exempt?

Q9. Yes

Deviation Dated 10/12/25, from Waybaytay Holdings has been approved. See attached. Exhibit C

All communications regarding this RFP must be submitted via email to the Finance Department representative identified below:

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 0:03

I don't know.

Did I?

I had to hit Join Now twice for some reason I don't understand Microsoft so.

Anissa Pratte 0:09

It it's probably may, so it's probably may, so I apologize.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 0:12

No, no it wasn't.

It said Join Now big right in front of me and I didn't click it so.

Anissa Pratte 0:14

Right.

Right, OK. All right.

So everybody, we are here for the bid 20/26/14 wayfinding sign fabrication installation.

mailto:apratte@townoffarragut.org

Sherri, you brought the table a lot of really good questions that I felt I couldn't answer. A lot of them.

I felt a little lost in translation, so I felt like maybe we had this kind of zoom call that maybe we better get these answers out on the table for you.

And then I can put on addendum this afternoon and that can be it so.

If you want to just fire away with us and kind of ask your questions and we can go from there.

Sherry L Brower 0:49

OK.

Yeah. So I knew I had, I guess several questions.

One of them was concerning the limited I guess gateway and the Town Center gateway signs where you have these as.

Anissa Pratte 0:55

Sherry L Brower 1:08

You know, like you had these right and you had these letters were 1/2 inch thick aluminum.

And so typically when you secure aluminum to another substrate you like to stud mount

it. So you would have, you know basically pins on the back that you would then nut it.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 1:27

Mm-hmm.

Sherry L Brower 1:28

So if you have a panel that doesn't have a box or a back, you're going to see all those you know stud holes. If you want to call it and all the nuts.

Do you have that?

Like that little PDF that I'd sent you with the question, I think it was.

You know what I'm saying?

It had like a had a side view.

Of the Stallings, it was like a box.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 1:50

Yeah, yeah. You want to make it like 1/2 inch like cabinet essentially, right? Yeah.

Sherry L Brower 1:54

Yes. So basically when I was saying, hey, can we make it, you know like 1/2 inch or one inch cabinet then that way we can stud mount the letters and hide the studs.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 2:04

Yeah, sure.

Yeah, that that works.

Sherry L Brower 2:07

Anissa Pratte 2:07

Deviation, right?

Sherry L Brower 2:09

Yes.

Anissa Pratte 2:09

Kevin was OK.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 2:10

I believe so, yeah.

Anissa Pratte 2:12

All right. So we're approving that.

So I'll put that out.

Sherry L Brower 2:17

And then the other kind of question slash concern I had was also back with these guys.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 2:23

Sherry L Brower 2:24

Where you had a 5 inch post transitioning to A7 to A9.

It's more about having to have the breakaways, you know, housed underneath. And so we did a project for the silly of Alexandria, where we had a 6 by 6 post that was then welded to the base plate.

And then we had like an 8 by 8 that slid over it and then welded to the 6 by 6.

But in that way the breakaways are going to be on the outside of the tube. If you want to say, but you could do like a skirt.

But there really isn't any way to have your base plate to bolt it and then slide down that tube.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 3:09

Well, could you do like a clamshell?

Like where the base cover?

Just the part covering the bolts like a.

Sherry L Brower 3:16

Yes, you.

Absolutely you could do. I would say you would do a claim show like at the bottom because you're not gonna wanna have this whole thing at a clam shell up that high.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 3:25

Right, right.

Sherry L Brower 3:27

So you could definitely do a clamshell like cover to cover the breakaways at the bottom for sure.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 3:31

Yeah, that, that's all I'll do it.

Sherry L Brower 3:33

And then this.

This was the other kind of element of concern.

While it's great on a larger thing, but if you've got like an 8 by 8 square tube and then you're wanting to indent it, you know with a six inch.

Slat that you're trying to do it.

It makes that really expensive to do. I think you could actually two ways you could achieve that. Look, if you want to say, you could either paint it just on to the 8 by 8 or you could do like an O40 overlay and do that and then.

Attach it, but I don't really see any way to have it recessed and still have it be with an internal post.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 4:12

Well, we've had it done before on a couple other projects and I think how they did it was like when they fabricated that skirt that the bigger part, they just cut a window out and then laid another piece on the inside.

So it created that boxed reset.

Sherry L Brower 4:29

Was it?

Was it like an 8 by 8 square post?

So I mean, you could definitely do it if it's a larger kind of box. But The thing is that in order to do, let's say an 8 by 8, we would put it on the CNC and we would like here's a piece paper, right.

So we would, we would route out a hole, but then we'd have four panels that we then would have to connect, you know, to make the square.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 4:44

Sherry L Brower 4:54

And so then you would have, you know, you could put angle in here and then glue it?

To do that, but it's going to be very pricey to do that.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 5:05

Yeah.

Sherry L Brower 5:06

So it was just kind of like, hey, I don't really know. Because then let's say you put the angle in the corners, you then could put, you could fill it in, you know, with Bondo and paint it, but then eventually over time that's gonna crack. And then.

That bondo's gonna.

It's gonna fail even though you could have the angle on the inside, so it still would be secure, but just more of aesthetically that little crack.

Would be a challenge.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 5:35

I don't.

Yeah, I don't want it painted on.

I'm just trying to see if I can share a picture of.

Anissa Pratte 5:44

Sherry, what page was that picture again? That you're looking at?

Sherry L Brower 5:47

By page 6.

Anissa Pratte 5:48

It's Page Six of the plants, OK?

Sherry L Brower 5:50

So like you know, as I said, it's definitely something that's achievable if you have something that's maybe 12 or 14 or 16 inches wide, it's just having it be 8, I think is gonna be challenging to them still make a base square that goes around the.

Internal support.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 6:12

Price it the way that.

It's drawn and then provide like.

A like a value engineer alternate or something for like a side.

Sherry L Brower 6:23

Absolutely.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 6:25

That's how I would do it I guess.

Just so again, we're getting everybody bidding on the same thing.

Anissa Pratte 6:32

If you want so bit it as is and then on the very top page that we have everybody filling out, there's a thing that says list of deviations if any attached. If you'll put that as an attachment of just that you know changing, you know say if you.

Sherry L Brower 6:43

Anissa Pratte 6:47

Going to do a deduct and then add this for cost value engineering that would be great just to spell it out.

Sherry L Brower 6:51

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 6:53

Anissa Pratte 6:53

Does that make sense, Kevin?

Sherry L Brower 6:53

So have you. Have you seen this done before on an, you know an 8 by 8 square tube or a post?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 6:58

Yeah, I'm trying to find.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a picture of one we did.

In Worthington. OH.

Sherry L Brower 7:08

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:09

But I'm trying to find the picture.

It's a few years old.

Sherry L Brower 7:12

Was it?

Was it a way finding project?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:15

Yeah. Yeah. And I think they just like I don't think they use like an 8 by 8 post for the skirt part.

They like fabricated it like a cabinet almost, and it, like, went around. And so it was like purely decorative.

Sherry L Brower 7:27

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:32

Hang on, let me see if I can find.

Sherry L Brower 7:35

OK, that would be helpful. Especially where it transitions from the 8 to the six or the you know like how they achieved?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:36

Some.

Yeah, I think they literally just built it as like I said, like they were fabricating.

Sherry L Brower 7:44

That.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:49

A cabinet that that, like kind of just was around the post itself, like didn't.

Sherry L Brower 7:55

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 7:55

It was purely decorative at that point.

Sherry L Brower 7:58

Did it also have breakaways underneath it?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 8:01

Yeah, that was what covered the breakaways.

Was that dirt that like?

Sherry L Brower 8:04

Well, yeah, I'd love to see that picture to see.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 8:07

I'm trying to find like I know.

Hang on.

Sherry L Brower 8:19

So I guess it was also probably like a clamshell.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 8:22

The just the bottom part where they so they could get to the. I'm not sure if it was a clamshell or if they just made it so that you could slide the whole thing up a few inches to get to the bolts.

I'm assuming it was at the bottom.

Was just a clamshell, though that probably seems more.

Probably easier for them to access the bolts that way.

Let's see if I can find it here.

Sherry L Brower 8:51

Yeah, I'd love to see that.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 9:00

Gina do.

You don't know where pictures for like.

Do you think our website pictures would have?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 9:07

It's possible I can look there if you want to look on the server.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 9:11

Yeah, I don't know why I can't find these. Like I know we've.

I know we've seen.

I've seen pictures of them and I know we have them somewhere.

I just don't know where they went.

Sherry L Brower 9:23

Do you have like the original?

Maybe RFP or the bid for the Worthington. OH, 'cause. It would have had the specs in it.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 9:30

Yeah, I was just.

I mean I'm. I'm assuming we drew it probably the same way.

I'm not sure. I was trying to show how they like get an idea of how they actually fabricated it.

Sherry L Brower 9:36

Oh.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 9:45

I apologize like the IT was done in phases, so I have to figure out what year it was done.

Sherry L Brower 9:54

I wonder if you just googled it.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 9:58

Yeah, I know.

We have the I know we have pictures on our website, but I was trying to find.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:11

Top of this, they're all.

Oh yeah, here's one.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 10:17

Thanks.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:17

If I can make it bigger.

Share my screen.

It is.

I am not.

Able to share.

Anissa Pratte 10:32

See if I can.

Hallie Reid 10:32

And they say you'll have to give her.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:33

Looks like.

Anissa Pratte 10:34

Yeah, try it now. OK all right.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:35

OK, OK. It looks like I can.

Yeah, let's see if it can.

Well.

OK. Can you see?

Is this what you were looking for, Kevin?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 10:46

Sherry L Brower 10:48

Zoom in.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:50

Maybe.

Anissa Pratte 10:54

It's too early in the morning for zoom.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 10:55

It's.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 10:56

Did.

Anissa Pratte 11:00

That's really pretty.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:00

So I.

Sherry L Brower 11:02

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 11:02

I can't seem to.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:02

Thanks. So I think just the box at the bottom not the decorative with the recess that that probably didn't move I'm assuming.

And I mean I can dig into the shop drawings, but I'm assuming just that bottom piece lid up in counter with just clam shelled.

Sherry L Brower 11:18

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:23

Yeah, that.

Yeah. I wonder if of course, there's no close-up, right?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 11:27

Oh, thanks.

Well, oh here.

Sherry L Brower 11:28

Oh, there you go.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:29

But yeah, yeah. So I so I.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 11:29

This is kind of close.

Sherry L Brower 11:32

It looks like looks like there's like a screw or something. Maybe it was.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:35

Yeah. So I think he built it just like, like I said, like a like a cabinet and then.

Cut those windows out and just like built the actual shape as opposed to using like a off the shelf 8 by 8 post already.

Sherry L Brower 11:50

OK, OK.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:51

It looks like it's just a skin. You know what I'm saying?

Like so.

Sherry L Brower 11:53

Yeah. No, that was that was actually looks pretty.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:54

It's purely decorative, boy.

Sherry L Brower 11:56

I like that.

That looks very pretty.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 11:58

So the only difference here is having the stripe pattern like either like engraved in it or.

Sherry L Brower 12:01

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 12:08

Like you said, pieces inside there.

Sherry L Brower 12:08

Yeah. OK.

Well, no. That's helpful. Very helpful.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 12:15

Anissa Pratte 12:21

So yeah, so like if you want to just like I said, attach a deviation if you want to you know just refer to that or whatever in your deviation and then attach it just like I said, just make sure that you know the cost is based off of.

What that bid is and then this will be something extra at the end.

So just you'll just do that and then I'll kind of instruct everybody else the same thing as well that they can do that.

Sherry L Brower 12:42

Yeah. I mean, I think that was basically kind of like the majority of my questions were around those.

Anissa Pratte 12:54

Sherry L Brower 12:57

Those.

Anissa Pratte 12:57

I know the other thing that keeps coming up and I think everybody had a little bit of this, was TDOT. So I've reached out to TDOT because some of these things are in the right of ways for Kingston Pike specifically.

Sherry L Brower 12:59

2.

Anissa Pratte 13:09

Tdot has not responded to me, so I'm gonna put it out there. It kind of in the addendum that, you know, it's still y'all's responsibility.

I just don't know what that responsibility may look like.

So definitely I think plan on paying for a permit and going and getting a permit for TDOT.

But I can't specifically say.

What that cost is gonna be? I can't specifically say what that looks like as far as admin work goes.

That I don't know, but I have reached out to them.

Sherry L Brower 13:34

Anissa Pratte 13:35

I just haven't heard back in time to get answers for everybody.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 13:38

And I can say in Ohio usually the only permits are city permits.

Sherry L Brower 13:39

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 13:42

I don't.

I don't know of any communities we've worked for where there was like a separate dot permit fee. Sometimes dot wants to see what we're doing, but I've never heard of purchasing like permits through dot.

Sherry L Brower 14:00

Typically you have like the encroachment you have to fill out.

Anissa Pratte 14:04

Right, so I went to our permitting people here.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 14:04

Anissa Pratte 14:07

They have agreed that the town permit, it can be done as one permit for the whole town as a project, and then we're gonna eat that fee so that you won't be charged for that.

But they were adamant that they will require to for whoever's got the project, to show that they have gone to TDOT and asked for that permission, whether it be in a permit, whether it be in the encroachment.

Sherry L Brower 14:26

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 14:29

Anissa Pratte 14:29

They wanna see that before they'll approve the permit here in town.

On.

Sherry L Brower 14:33

OK. Because I know yeah, actually.

Anissa Pratte 14:33

Does that make sense?

Sherry L Brower 14:35

And I need to go back.

I wasn't sure what your the expected timeline is of fabrication, but I know that typically the dot they can drag their feet so.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 14:46

Sherry L Brower 14:49

If that is part of the, you know, 180 days or whatever, you know, I think that we all just need to be aware of that. Really probably won't start until the until the dot says go.

Anissa Pratte 15:02

Sherry L Brower 15:04

Because it usually there least my, they're kind of slow.

Anissa Pratte 15:08

Right, I do not.

It's very odd that I haven't heard back from Terry.

Typically I hear back pretty quickly, so I'm quite shocked that I don't have an answer for you everybody.

But yeah, it is 180 days and whoever the awarded vendor is, we can definitely talk about when we're gonna initiate that notice to proceed so that we get that stuff in and it doesn't kind of, you know, hinder anybody as well. So if it's if.

It's T Dot's fault. I don't think we would take that in consideration.

For any kind of liquid damages, you know what I mean? So yeah.

Sherry L Brower 15:36

Well, that's good. That's good, I agree.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 15:40

Being reasonable there.

Anissa Pratte 15:41

I don't know why we would do that, right?

I don't.

I mean, I just can't imagine why somebody would do that.

But anyway, but yeah, so I'll all of this will be in that, you know, addendum that goes out so.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 15:50

Yeah, typically that's why the breakaways are so important.

Sherry L Brower 15:50

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 15:53

Typically, if the breakaway, at least on a post and they're in the right away, they're usually OK with it, unless sometimes. If it's like a highway, obviously a highway, they're not.

Sometimes we we've they have allowed in some places, but very rarely like on a on a highway they allow signage but.

Sherry L Brower 16:12

Do you know? Have you guys like, I think you know, I had also submitted some questions concerning the gateway locations and the you know locations that you had specified. And I know one of them was like in like a 40 foot valley.

Anissa Pratte 16:12

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 16:26

So did you all see my note about?

Sherry L Brower 16:26

You know, I'm talking about.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 16:30

The sign types that were associated with those locations on the PDF that we got are not the right sign types for those locations.

So that should resolve all of those kind of issues.

Sherry L Brower 16:43

Do you have something that can indicate the sign types that are that are in those locations then?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 16:46

Yeah. So.

Yeah, I sent the location plan, message schedule and all that fun stuff, but let me share my screen again just to point out.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 16:54

Yeah, there should be a little.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 16:56

A couple of things. So.

Anissa Pratte 16:57

Yeah. And I'll attach all that stuff too, in the addendum.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:00

So this sign type G1 here.

Sherry L Brower 17:03

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:04

So that's the sign type that goes here.

G1 the location G1.

Is that tall skinny sign type?

So all these most of these sign types that are on this particular PDF are not the sign types that go with these locations, so.

Sherry L Brower 17:17

So where were the?

Oh yeah, 'cause, that's what I put together of trying to figure out.

So where are? Where is that sign located that you know the horizontal gateway?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:28

This particular sign is.

Let's see.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 17:38

And I don't know if you've got the where.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:38

This is.

Wait, what am I trying to go?

Anissa Pratte 17:42

I think that one's on Campbell station and I thought.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 17:42

I mean.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:45

Yeah. So it's this one.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 17:45

You want.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 17:47

So here's the location.

Wait, wait, wait for it.

This one. So this one you have this gateway and A1A and A.

1A is that horizontal sign.

So if you look back.

Sherry L Brower 18:00

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:02

At the.

Sherry L Brower 18:03

Because I was trying to, you know, I knew that you had.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:04

So A1A is a primary horizontal gateway.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 18:07

So just question for the for the town where the location plans and message schedules sent out with a bid.

Anissa Pratte 18:13

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 18:15

Because OK, so.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:16

So.

Sherry L Brower 18:17

But it didn't really cross reference.

So you had A1B and A1A, but it didn't tell you what that sign was.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:19

A1.

A.

But the signs in in this you have these sign drawings, right?

Sherry L Brower 18:29

So that's a one.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:29

So signetype A1A sign Type A1A so on each of these sign drawings. This is a 1.

Sherry L Brower 18:32

A.

Do you know which one?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 18:36

And if you look at the location.

Sherry L Brower 18:38

Gotcha.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:39

BA1B.

So it's noted here and here.

Sherry L Brower 18:44

Perfect. OK.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 18:44

And that in the location plan as well. So if you go to the location plan, it says A1B.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:49

This is a 2.

Sherry L Brower 18:52

Perfect if you could.

Anissa Pratte 18:53

And I definitely want to. Yeah. And I do want to add to that too, because Ron and I talked about this and I've talked about this with my Permian guys.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 18:53

This is G1.

Sherry L Brower 18:55

Give.

Anissa Pratte 18:59

You know the other part of this too is the signs, and the locations are set.

But 811 locates definitely need to be done if there's an issue for any reason, why there's fiber in the ground there, there's, you know, electric in the ground there or whatever. We have to move it.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 19:07

Hello.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 19:11

Anissa Pratte 19:13

It can be discussed and that can be negotiated and changed. You know whether it be, you know.

A foot away or two foot away like it's, you know, it's not.

They're not 100%.

And of course, we will walk through that with the awarded vendor.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 19:27

Right, right.

That's part of the process is going out there, staking it and calling.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 19:29

Great.

Anissa Pratte 19:31

Rome.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 19:32

I don't know what here it's called. Oops, the underground.

Anissa Pratte 19:34

Yeah, I hear.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 19:35

Anissa Pratte 19:36

Yeah, here. It's one call. One call for locates.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 19:36

Rays.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 19:38

Hmm.

Anissa Pratte 19:38

I think it's in Tennessee.

I'm only been here a year so I'm still learning.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 19:42

And then and then we go out and say, OK of all of them, you know, five needed to be moved.

Where do we want to move them?

We've moved them two feet.

We've moved them half a block just because of what?

So that's kind of that, that's natural.

So these locations are like, yeah, the ideal location where we want them. But if you look at the location plan, those tags, it says A1A, so.

That's how you know what sign type goes in that at that intersection.

Sherry L Brower 20:11

Which one was? You know, if you go back to the PDF that obviously I had the wrong sign types in the wrong locations.

But which one was the one that was in that huge valley? Like an intersection? Keep going.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 20:22

So that is you add that here.

Wait for it there.

Sorry, so this is AG1.

Sherry L Brower 20:27

That one.

That which one's that.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 20:30

That's this one.

So it's not in.

I think there's some room around here.

We're not, we're not.

We wouldn't place the sign here.

Sherry L Brower 20:45

So what do you know?

What the intention was or was it to be on that road where the red car is or the road that's in front?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 20:52

I think.

I don't know if I can tell which.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 20:56

Do you have the location plan Genie?

Anissa Pratte 20:58

What Rd. is that I can't see?

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 20:58

Yeah, that's that. That would be better.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:03

I want to say it was closer to like.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 21:04

Pork. Cheese.

It's the G's that's T that here's RG.

It's here.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:13

So it's again, these aren't like pinpointed.

We'd have to go out there and find a flat spot like ideally would be the situation.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 21:24

Great. I mean, we could even put it back here.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:27

Right. We can put it back there.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 21:29

I think that's still in the town.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:32

We can move it further away from the, you know, further West.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 21:35

But, but it's not the horizontal sign trying to go down that that slope.

Sherry L Brower 21:39

That. That's good. That make that.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:39

Sherry L Brower 21:41

That's helpful.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:41

Sherry L Brower 21:44

Yeah, 'cause, I know.

Typically you know the dot doesn't like to have you know, monumental signs in the right away.

So I don't know if you guys have looked at the properties to see you know is it city owned property?

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 21:50

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 21:51

Sherry L Brower 21:57

Are you gonna have to get permission from, you know, homeowners to get it out of there right away?

Anissa Pratte 22:05

I don't think any are in a homeowners right away. I think that.

Sherry L Brower 22:08

No, I mean like so that one right there that G whatever the one that that's there, right.

So it's in that huge valley. The dot will not let you put that within, you know, 10 feet of the edge of curb.

So you're gonna have to go back probably 12 feet since it's not a breakaway. It's a brick.

And then.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 22:26

And I think I think we could place it over here.

So I think bottom line is like we're going to look at all of these locations and make sure that they're appropriate and work to get them into the right place. You know, obviously appreciate the concern, but yeah, I think that there's a flat spot right here that.

Has there's this is just open that the sign could go in.

Sherry L Brower 22:49

Oh yeah. Perfect. Yep.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 22:51

And if that spot that we, you know like the ideal like.

Sherry L Brower 22:51

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 22:57

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 22:58

If that doesn't work.

Sherry L Brower 22:58

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 22:59

Then you know we can.

We can make adjustments.

Sherry L Brower 23:03

Yeah, I think I only kind of real question was the expectation of grading or backfilling?

So I think you answered that though. So if there was any significant grading that would have to occur that the city would take care of that.

Gina Gerken, Guide Studio 23:11

Anissa Pratte 23:15

Yes, yeah, 100% for that one.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 23:18

Yeah. And so even if.

Sherry L Brower 23:19

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 23:19

Even if it, I mean technically if it went in that Big valley, yes, you'd have to get a longer post.

But it shouldn't be as difficult as trying to span it with like a, you know, a long horizontal sign.

Sherry L Brower 23:35

Perfect. OK.

I think that's the I think that's.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 23:41

So I think the key for that, yeah, I think the key for that question is make sure you like you're using the location plans.

I don't know.

So, because those should relate to the drawings, and then that should answer all those questions about.

You know.

Sherry L Brower 23:56

Oh yeah, I'd missed that little key little thing there at the bottom, so.

Kevin Fromet - Guide Studio 23:59

Anissa Pratte 24:04

All right, Miss Sherry. You got anything else for us?

Sherry L Brower 24:06

I think that's it.

Anissa Pratte 24:07

All right, these are great questions and I really, really appreciate you asking them that, that was fantastic.

So by 5:00 today, maybe a little later.

From here, a little later in the day, either will be an addendum that goes out today, so just make sure in that in that bid document, there's a page. Just check off one and two, because one's already gone out, and then that's it.

Sherry L Brower 24:19

Perfect.

Anissa Pratte 24:26

That's all we got, and it's all due next Tuesday. So we'll be hearing from you then.

Sherry L Brower 24:27

Perfect. Thank you so much guys.

Anissa Pratte 24:32

Thank you.

I appreciate it everybody.
