About this file
This is a financial performance document related to Mt. San Antonio College's beverage services contract, specifically documenting Pepsi's revenue data for 2025. The file shows Pepsi's combined sales performance across post-mix, bottled beverages, and vending machines, with net revenue of $280,043 in 2025 compared to $255,443 in 2024, representing a 9.6% year-over-year increase. Mt. San Antonio College, a California community college district serving over 41,000 students, is seeking qualified suppliers through Request for Proposal #2026-042 to provide comprehensive pouring rights and beverage vending machine services. The five-year contract will commence July 1, 2026 and expire June 30, 2031. The College requires suppliers to provide all carbonated and non-carbonated, non-alcoholic beverages for resale across dining facilities, vending machines, convenience stores, kiosks, athletic events, and catering services. Critical deadlines include a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on March 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM via Zoom, a Request for Information deadline of March 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM, proposal submission deadline of April 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM, optional interviews on May 8, 2026, award recommendation on June 4, 2026, and contract commencement on July 1, 2026.
Pepsi is the incumbent vendor, having established an extensive distribution network of 16 vending machines across campus locations and demonstrating consistent revenue growth. Proposers must submit comprehensive pricing proposals including one-time signing bonuses, annual cash sponsorships, scholarship contributions, commission support with minimum guaranteed amounts, price increase ceilings for years two through five, rebate proposals, growth incentive bonuses, enclosure replacement contributions, and flex fund commitments. Financial compensation includes growth incentive funds of $4.00 per case for annual purchases exceeding 11,001 cases. The College reserves the right to award all beverage categories to a single supplier or distribute awards among multiple suppliers at its sole discretion. Vendors must supply and install all equipment at no cost, provide preventative maintenance with less than 24-hour response times, implement real-time inventory monitoring, and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage with minimum commercial general liability of $1,000,000 and aggregate limits of $2,000,000, naming the College as an additional insured. No set-aside designations or restrictions limit responses to particular organizational categories.
