About this file
This document is a detailed solicitation Q&A matrix for an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) medical examination and medical review services contract. The solicitation covers comprehensive medical services including pre-employment exams, medical reviews, immunizations, and specialized medical evaluations across over 250 IRS offices nationwide. Key details include contact protocols for scheduling exams (3 documented contact attempts within 24 hours), medical reporting procedures, hearing and vision testing requirements, and an online tracking system with admin and view-only access roles.
The pricing structure involves multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) covering examinations, medical reviews, immunizations (primarily Hepatitis B), cancellation fees, and potential travel expenses. The government will provide estimated quantities to help ensure accurate pricing. The technical volume will include an executive summary, technical and management approaches, and is expected to cover Factors 1 and 2. Notable specifications include optional use of QuantiFERON gold for TB testing, an internal form for refractive surgery evaluations, and a CI-managed reconsideration process for applicants not initially medically cleared. The solicitation indicates two volumes will be submitted: Technical and Price.

All RMO services costs should be priced under CLIN 0004 regardless of the exam type.
solicitation_Main Part I 3 Will the government provide estimated quantities for each line item to ensure the submitted total price reflects the contract's expected value more accurately? Using a quantity of 1 for all items when calculating the total price for services does not represent the actual contract expenditure and may result in unbalanced price submissions.
Yes please see attachment 1 solicitation_Main Part I 3 What type of immunizations, under Line Item No. 0005 do we price base year immunizations?
