ADDENDUM #3

The solicitation referenced above is updated & amended as follows:

1. Provide amended drawings and specifications. Refer to Addendum 3 Drawings AMENDED and

Addendum 3 Specifications AMENDED.

2. Answer questions from potential bidders

2.1 Please confirm the specification of the Contractor Furnish and Contractor installed (CFCI)

TSA tables (BIT) per spec page 185 section C.12. These BIT tables are not shown in the drawings please provide a cut sheet and quantities for these tables.

The tables are shown in the drawings. Requirement for skirting and risers is performance based with the requirement to match the no-lift conditions present at TC4. Cut sheets of tables previously supplied to the airport may be provided for reference as an acceptable solution post bid award.

2.2 Per sheet EP111 keynote 3, please confirm if the Owner or Contractor is conducting the 30-day load study on NPX-1. If the Contractor is preforming the load study please confirm the substantial completion date. The study would last longer than the total project time.

The Owner is currently conducting the 30-day load test and is no longer a requirement for the Contractor. See Amendment 2.

2.3 Confirm the intent of Sheet B500 - BHS - Proposed Removal Path.

The intent is to show the removal path of the machine. This path will also serve as the way the machine is brought into the room.

2.4 Confirm the intent of the egress sheet B501. Does this path need to be kept clear during construction or is this the final egress path?

The intent is to show the egress path for persons working in the area. Adequate egress is required to be maintained throughout the duration of the project.

2.5 Confirm the intent of sheet B503. Is the Fail Safe Stop built into the existing conveyor TC3-08 or is this something the Contractor is to supply. If so please provide a cut sheet of TC3-08 or specification of this item or assembly.

The intent is to show the failsafe zone. The original design is believed to have accounted for this but its functionality needs to be confirmed.

2.6 Confirm Sheet B801 and B802 signage is provided and installed by Owner (TSA) or Contractor. Signage is not noted on the plans or in the specs. If this signage is in contractor scope please provide quantities, dimensions, locations and a signage schedule for the equipment. Are there any proprietary vendors that supply the signage.

Signage is to be provided as needed for the line to ensure safe operation of the line with the installed equipment.

2.7 Please confirm that TSA is providing the "mounted key switch and restart button" per Spec page 232 Section C.3.a. There is no spec listed for this item or cut sheet provided.

This control station is already installed onsite. Its functionality and integration into the machine is required under the scope of the project

2.8 Please confirm if the BHS firms that have been crossed out in the amended spec page 227 section 2.1A.1 can still be used as installers in the contractor proposal; As they were contacted as part of the initial RFP on the project per the first set of specs as originally listed as acceptable manufacturers/installers.

Yes, firms on the original list are still considered acceptable. They were removed as their typical project size is larger than the scope of this project.

2.9 Please confirm if new panel is necessary for additional conveyers, motors and EDS machine. Will this required UL reinspection of the existing and/or new panel.

No new panel is required as part of this project. UL reinspection is not required either.

Reference section 2.8 for details on the requirements for working within the existing MCP.

All power for conveyors and associated motors will come from the MCP (BHS system).

The only 120V power, Div 26, being installed for this project is for the CT machine as shown on plans.

2.10 Please confirm TSA testing and inspection in scope of work.

Yes, support of all TSA testing including developing test plans, filling out ISAT checklists, providing labor and testing materials are in the scope of work as indicated within the spec.

Refer to section 1.4 within the BHS specifications for the Scope of Work.

2.11 Please confirm UPS for the EDS Device is to be supplied and installed by TSA.

Correct.

2.12 Please confirm GC not responsible to schedule impacts as a direct result of TSA installation, testing and inspections.

Delays directly related to outside sources will not be counted against you. However, assisting in the installation, integration, and testing of the EDS machine is within scope.

Delays during testing due to failed tests or other deficiencies within the BHS would be the responsibility of the GC

2.13 Will substantial completion date be revised to reflect current lead times and TSA installation & testing timeline of the EDS Device?

Substantial completion date has been changed to Febuary 11, 2022 per Amendment 2.

2.14 Please provide cut sheets for new TC3-06, TC3-09 and TC3-10 conveyors. Are these conveyors new units or being relocated from a different area of the airport. What is the procurement status of the conveyors.

The conveyors exist and are onsite already. They are to be installed in the locations shown within the drawings. No cut sheets available.

2.15 Please provide "existing baggage handling systems - operations and maintenance manuals" per page 171 of amended spec section 1.2-E.1.

Existing O&M can be obtained after bid award

2.16 Please provide "existing baggage handling systems - PLC/BHC codes" per page 171 of amended spec section 1.2-E.3.

The existing PLC can be obtained after bid award.

2.17 On detail 1/B800 the dashed line supports call out a ceiling supported conveyor sill assembly. This type of ceiling support is not noted on the plans, please confirm if this type of support is required. If it is please specify where this support is required and provide ceiling connection details.

Ceiling supports are not required

2.18 Please confirm that all materials are being provided by the airport and are readily available. This would include the three new conveyors, supports, additional casters, field devices required for TSA testing as well as the control devices required in the MCP for the new conveyors and field devices.

Not all materials are being supplied by the Airport. The contractor is required to perform a site survey and identify missing components to be provided to make the system whole and functioning on a turnkey basis.

All other terms, conditions and specifications of this solicitation remain unchanged.
