About this file

Vehicle Specifications Summary

This document comprises vehicle specifications for a rebid procurement conducted by the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) for Medium/Heavy Duty Truck purchases. The specifications outline the technical requirements and acceptable models for the 2017 Model Year or newer trucks that will be available for purchase by State Agencies, including University of Wisconsin System campuses and eligible participants in Wisconsin's cooperative purchasing program. The specifications detail the vehicle classes, engine specifications, transmission requirements, axle configurations, brake systems, and other technical parameters that bidders must meet or exceed in their proposals. The document establishes the baseline requirements that all submitted vehicle options must satisfy to be considered compliant with the procurement requirements.

The rebid vehicle specifications serve as the technical foundation for evaluating bidder submissions and ensuring that all offered vehicles meet the State's operational and performance standards. These specifications are binding requirements that vendors must address in their proposals, with any deviations or substitutions requiring formal approval. The document functions as an attachment to the primary Request for Bid (RFB) and is essential for vendors preparing their responses. By establishing clear and comprehensive technical criteria upfront, the specifications enable transparent comparison of competing bids and ensure that vehicles selected through this procurement will meet the State's functional needs across all purchasing agencies and eligible cooperative members.
