About this file
This document is Addendum No. 2 for Solicitation No. PNC2130616C1, issued by the Broward County Purchasing Division for the Regional Effluent and Reuse Solutions – Bid Pack 1 project. The addendum revises the solicitation's closing date to August 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. and includes several key modifications to the original bid specifications. Changes affect various sections including allowances, payment for stored materials, testing requirements, railroad inspector fees, and technical specifications for ductile iron pipe and microtunneling work.
The addendum updates specific financial elements, including permit fees of $191,550 and railroad inspection fees of $143,220. Notably, it introduces requirements for railroad inspectors to be present during work beneath railroads, with contractors responsible for inspector fees to be reimbursed through a pass-through allowance. The document also revises technical specifications for ductile iron pipe, particularly adjusting pressure class ratings from 350 to 250 for 24-inch pipes, and modifies measurement and payment terms for specific bid items. The contract documents, including the base Contract (BCF 170), have been revised and replaced in their entirety.
