About this file
This document is an Ownership Disclosure form from Broward County, Florida, focused on collecting vendor ownership information for research purposes related to potential contracting opportunity disparities. The form is specifically linked to the "Regional Effluent and Reuse Solutions - Bid Pack 1" project, which involves constructing effluent water transmission infrastructure. The scope includes installing 1,320 linear feet of secondary effluent water pipes using horizontal directional drilling and 105 linear feet using microtunneling, along with associated restoration work such as replacing sidewalks, curbing, pavement, trees, markings, and signage.
The solicitation requires electronic submission through BPRO, with vendors responsible for ensuring timely and correct submission. The project involves grant funding and may have county/state licensing requirements and bonding specifications. Vendors are instructed to submit ownership disclosure information through a separate link, not within the electronic bidding system, and the county explicitly states that the ownership information will not impact contract award decisions. The document emphasizes compliance with Section 287.05701 of Florida Statutes, which prohibits the county from considering a vendor's social, political, or ideological interests when evaluating vendor responsibility.
