About this file
This is a Summit County contract cover document executed by Summit County, Utah, a political body located in Coalville, Utah, for consultant services related to the Olympic Parkway Extension Corridor Study. The contract establishes the framework for a feasibility study evaluating potential roadway connections between Olympic Parkway and Bear Cub Drive in the Snyderville Basin. The study's scope includes identifying and evaluating potential alignments to improve regional connectivity, reduce congestion on the SR-224 corridor including Ute Boulevard and Olympic Parkway, and provide a connection to a cemetery planned for the area. The analysis must also consider impacts on existing and future neighborhoods, the 2034 Olympic Games, and SR-224 access management. The contract becomes effective upon signature by the Summit County Manager and may be executed in counterpart originals or through electronic means including facsimile, email, DocuSign, or Adobe Sign. The contract period, specific effective and termination dates, renewal options, and other contract-specific details are to be completed in the blank fields provided on the cover page.
The contract maximum cost and fee structure will be specified in Attachment D (Fee Schedule), with payment terms to be determined by that attachment. The contract incorporates by reference Summit County Standard Terms and Conditions for Goods or Services (Attachment A), Technology Terms and Conditions if applicable (Attachment B), the Scope of Work (Attachment C), and the contractor's RFP response. The procurement was conducted in accordance with Summit County Code, Title 1, Chapter 16, and may reference an associated RFP number. Approval authority rests with the Summit County Manager, Purchasing Agent Clay Coleman, and the Deputy County Attorney.
