About this file

This is a Protected Information Request Form issued by the City of West Jordan, Utah, for a Demolition Derby Production Services contract opportunity. The city is soliciting proposals from qualified motorsport contractors to plan, promote, and produce a professional demolition derby event at the West Jordan Rodeo Arena located at 8125 S 2200 W, West Jordan, Utah 84088. The inaugural event is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, with future events following the same annual schedule on the fourth Saturday in August.

The form serves as a mechanism for vendors to identify and protect proprietary business information in their proposals in compliance with the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), codified as Utah Code Ann. Subsection 63G-2-101 et seq. Vendors must clearly designate specific information they claim requires business confidentiality protection and provide adequate description of their confidentiality claims. The City reserves the right to classify any proposal as a public record if it does not comply with GRAMA requirements and may decline to designate information as protected if vendors use blanket confidentiality claims or fail to specify their claims with sufficient detail at the City's sole discretion.
