About this file
This is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement (Attachment B) issued by the Jordan School District in Utah in accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97). The document applies to all vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide goods or services, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, in connection with the Video Wall for Bingham High School project. Vendors must certify that they are not currently engaged in any "economic boycott" or "boycott of the State of Israel" as defined under Utah Code and must agree to refrain from engaging in such boycotts throughout the entire contract period. The statement requires vendor signature, printed name, and date on the form provided.
The boycott restriction statement prohibits vendors from boycotting entities including the State of Israel, companies engaged in traditional energy, mining, or agriculture activities, companies involved in firearm manufacture or distribution, companies failing to meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws, and companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries, unless such actions constitute ordinary business purposes. Vendors who engage in prohibited boycotts must immediately notify the Jordan School District in writing. This document serves as a mandatory certification requirement for all bidders responding to the Jordan School District's Invitation for Bid for the Video Wall for Bingham High School project and must be completed and submitted as part of the bid response.

ATTACHMENT B
Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms; companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws; or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
