The browsing program encompasses seven distinct county properties with multiple sites: Erin Arsenault (22 acres, fire mitigation), AHI (30.4 acres, general weed management), Keyes (7.7 acres, restoration), Harney Lastoka/Mayhoffer (13 acres, general weed management), Mayhoffer Ditch (0.5 acres, fire mitigation), Monarch (13.5 acres, restoration), and Twin Lakes (2.5 acres, fire mitigation). Proposals from vendors not represented at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting will not be accepted. The browsing program will operate under a 100-day limit, with some areas requiring two browsing cycles during the growing season to support the county's Integrated Weed Management Plan.
The selected contractor will be compensated through two lump sum payments—one for fire mitigation browsing and one for general noxious weed and restoration browsing—upon project completion and site inspection approval by the county. Prior to commencing work, the contractor must execute a Contract for Services, obtain a Notice to Proceed from the county, provide a W-9 form dated within the past 12 months, and furnish proof of authorization to conduct business in Colorado through a current Certificate of Good Standing. The contractor must meet all of Boulder County's minimum insurance requirements as specified in Exhibit A, including coverage for owners, sole proprietors, and officers. The contractor is responsible for all applicable sales and employment taxes. Invoices must be submitted on company letterhead and include the project name, work dates, work type performed, current date, invoice number, amount due, and return address. All payment is contingent upon Boulder County's issued Purchase Order terms and conditions.
