About this file
This document is a Business Confidentiality Claim Form from Utah, specifically related to a Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) Request for Proposal (RFP) for developing, implementing, and maintaining a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Maintenance and Management System. The solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to support UDOT's Connected Vehicle Ecosystem, with the intent of awarding a single contract. The contract is anticipated to have an initial term of 5 years, with an option for 5 additional years. Offerors are encouraged to submit innovative ideas and expand upon the specified requirements while addressing the core needs outlined in the Scope of Work.
The confidentiality form indicates that pricing and cost proposals cannot be classified as confidential and will be considered public information. The document provides a mechanism for claiming business confidentiality for specific types of information, including non-public financial statements, employee information, and customer details. The claim must be based on protecting trade secrets or commercial information that could result in unfair competitive injury if disclosed. Notably, an entire proposal cannot be marked as confidential, and any confidentiality claims must be specifically documented and justified according to Utah Code Annotated regulations.
