About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation No. 19MY3026Q0022 concerning Chancery and GOP Pest Management Service for 2026-2027, dated 28 August 2026. The document addresses clarifications regarding pest management service delivery at an Embassy location in Malaysia.

Key service parameters include: pest control services are exterior only (not inside buildings) and serve as a secondary line of defense against pests, with mosquitoes identified as the most critical pest issue. All services must be performed during the Embassy's normal operating hours of 0745-1630. The weekly fogging and misting schedule requires communication, coordination, and approval from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for any changes. If services fall on official holidays, they should preferably be rescheduled to the next business day, contingent on COR communication, coordination, and approval. All pesticides and chemicals must be registered with and approved by the Pesticides Board of Malaysia, with the winning bidder required to provide copies of pesticide labels. Electronic items are prohibited inside the embassy compound but small storage areas are provided for contractor use. Specific service frequencies are referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW) page 13. Any unexpected or last-minute changes must be communicated to the COR via email.
