Position Requirements/ Qualifications PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology Expertise in the sciences of personnel selection and psychometrics, the statistical science of psychological measures used to compose knowledge tests.
Expertise in computer-based assessment methods Expertise in research methods Expertise in statistical analysis Expertise in “high stakes” testing procedures Expertise in adverse impact issues as they relate to testing Expertise in test validation processes Expertise in litigation Familiarity with the Foreign Service and the types of work performed by generalists and specialists Expertise in consulting and project management MS or PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology Expertise in the sciences of personnel selection and psychometrics Expertise in computer-based assessment methods Expertise in statistical analysis Expertise in techniques for compiling, manipulating, and managing large databases

| Analyze, propose suggestions for improvement, and make revisions to assessments |
Analyze adverse impact against protected groups and make suggestions for mitigation Conduct validation studies of assessments and analyze the validity of revisions to assessments Conduct research studies on the assessments, hiring process, and issues, including designing studies, collecting and analyzing data, conducting reviews of the research literature, etc.
