About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) correspondence for the U.S. Embassy Baku Solicitation for Taxi & Transportation Services, Solicitation Number 19AJ2026Q0009, issued on 05 June 2026.
The Q&A addresses three key inquiries from potential offerors. First, regarding SAM.gov registration requirements, the Embassy clarified that bidders need only provide proof of having initiated the registration process; completion is not required at the solicitation stage. Second, the Embassy confirmed that obtaining Disadvantaged Business Association (DBA) insurance quotations is not contingent upon SAM.gov registration completion, directly contradicting an offeror's concern that the two requirements were interdependent. Third, an offeror's request for an extension of the submission deadline was denied. The document does not provide specific details regarding pricing, contract duration, set-asides, or other substantive solicitation requirements, serving solely as clarification of administrative and registration procedural matters.
