About this file

This document is an attachment to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the State of Minnesota. It outlines the requirements and specifications for a contract opportunity related to the procurement of wildlife tracking transmitters.

The key details include: The State is seeking tracking transmitters to be used in a study of prairie-chickens, with requirements around the transmitter's size, weight, functionality, and performance. The transmitters must have a proven track record of successful use in previous wildlife studies without compromising data or causing transmitter effects. The contractor must have experience working with 2-3 research scientists who have used these transmitters for gallinaceous bird studies in the last 3-5 years. The contractor must be able to deliver a test transmitter within 5 weeks of award and the full order by December 15, 2024. The contract will require the contractor to maintain a secure data portal to access and download the collected transmitter data.
