The County seeks a licensed auctioneer to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, facilities, and administrative support necessary to conduct surplus auctions in accordance with Florida law and County requirements. All auction purchases must be settled in full by the close of business on the first business day following the auction by cash, credit card, cashier's check, or approved check. The County is not responsible for uncollected sales, and the contractor must maintain auction proceeds in a segregated, non-commingled account until remittance to the County within thirty calendar days of auction.
