About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Finance Division Procurement Section for 50 commercial portable X-Ray systems. The RFQ number is 15F06726Q000602, and shipping costs within CONUS must be included in vendor pricing.
Each system must include 12 specified components: a controller-to-detector cable, diagonal tripod mount, controller, desktop charger, communication cable, detector with battery, additional battery pack, professional software license, carrying backpack, bipod stand, dual drive USB storage, and USB-C cable. The detector panel must meet minimum specifications including 14" × 17" dimensions, 310 µm scintillator thickness, pixel size of at least 148 µm, and internal lead shielding of at least 1mm. Critical system requirements include a controller-to-panel cable of at least 30 feet with quick-release capability, a detachable computer-to-controller cable of at least 160 feet, and a communication cable of at least 6 feet with ruggedized RJ45 interface compatible with the Persistent Systems LLC MPU5 MANET radio system. The detector must be ruggedized for field deployment with thermal management features and light-colored casing for extreme environmental conditions. The system must integrate fully with the Sandia National Laboratories X-ray Tool Kit with Unified Scan Control functionality and provide automatic network discovery compatible with the MPU5 MANET system. Vendors must provide operator training and technical support, obtain military base and FBI visitor access for delivery, provide a minimum two-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, and supply all software updates and upgrades at no additional cost for two years from shipment.
