QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

•Are there also six (6) physical barrels (in addition to the six grease traps) referenced for any part of the removal, containment, or disposal process. Or are "barrels" mentioned in the documentation intended only as a unit of volume measurement for estimating the amount of grease waste to be removed?

The barrels are to be provided by the contractor. These barrels (usually 55 gal) are what will be stored at each location and taken outside the perimeter when full to be pumped. The contractor will report to the outside food service warehouse to pump out all barrels. We are usually provided with approximately 25 barrels by the contractor. As stated in the SOW, the contractor can either switch them out and take the full ones back and leave us empty ones or pump on site at the F/S WH.
