Pre-Proposal Site Visit
• Date: Thursday, May 12, 2022
• Time: 10:00 AM PST
• Location: New Melones Powerplant located approximately 10 miles southwest of
Sonora, CA (see google earth image on next slide)
• A Reclamation attendant will remain at the Powerplant entrance gate between 09:30 and 10:00 AM to allow registered site visit Offerors access to the site.
• Bring hard hat, safety vest, closed toed shoes and lock for locking onto the clearance.
• The clearance points will be walked for the site visit.
• Offerors who’ve locked onto the clearance will be afforded access to the underside of the windings for one unit for visual inspection only.
• We anticipate approximately 2-3 hours for the site visit.
