1.20 CONSTRUCT NEW CANAL TIE-INS TO EXISTING CANAL (CLINS 32 THROUGH
33)
A. No measurement shall be made for this item.
B. Payment for canal tie-in WORK will be made at the lump sum price named in the Price Schedule under the following CLINs, which price shall constitute full compensation for, and shall include, dewatering the existing FKC within a planned outage period, excavation and compacting embankments, prewetting, trimming earth foundations, 3.5-inch concrete canal lining, including joints, demolition, and all items identified in the Contract Documents. This item includes compliance with Specification Section 01 30 00 – Environmental Mitigation and Compliance.

1.21 CONSTRUCT NEW DEER CREEK CHECK STRUCTURE, WASTEWAY TURNOUT
AND SIPHON (CLIN 34)
A. No measurement shall be made for this item.
B. Payment for new check structure, wasteway turnout, and connecting pipeline to existing wasteway outlet, siphon, inlet and outlet transitions, and control building WORK will be made at the lump sum price named in the Price Schedule under the CLIN 34, which price shall constitute full compensation for all structural, mechanical and civil WORK, inclusive of dewatering and demolition of the existing FKC during a planned outage to make the connection to the existing wasteway, and shall include all items identified by the Contract Documents. The cost for electrical, instrumentation and control systems are not included in this item (inclusive of the upstream and downstream stilling well installation). The cost for over-excavation/ground improvement is not included in this item. This item includes compliance with Specification Section 01 30 00 – Environmental Mitigation and Compliance.
1.22 CONSTRUCT NEW SIPHON STRUCTURES (CLINS 35 THROUGH 41)
A. No measurement shall be made for this item.
B. Payment for new siphon structure WORK will be made at the lump sum price named in the Price Schedule under the following CLINs, which price shall constitute full compensation for all structural and civil WORK and shall include all pavement removal and restoration of road structure including base course, asphalt pavement and striping, road improvements for detours as described below for specific locations and as identified by the Contract Documents. This item includes compliance with Specification Section 01 30 00 – Environmental Mitigation and Compliance. Temporary and permanent water pipeline relocations and associated appurtenances for Water Districts are included in this item; any other utility relocations are not included. Cost for traffic control is not included in this item.
