About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document with detailed engineering drawings for solicitation 140P8525Q0005 regarding the replacement of a secondary clarifier framework at the El Portal Wastewater Treatment Plant for Yosemite National Park.

The Q&A clarifies several technical specifications: Tnemec N-69 Epoxy is approved for hi-build epoxy coating; the bridge is welded rather than bolted; rake arm dimensions are H 3'6" x L 17'6" x D 3' x 9" 2/16 with drive cage dimensions of H 12'4" x W 4'5" x D 5'5". The project will reuse the center column but requires new skimming mechanism and Scum/RAS box. Tank coating has been removed from the scope. No new piping is required for the suction pipe clarifier, and old equipment will not be coated. A site visit is scheduled for February 27, 2025 at 10:00am at 5083 Foresta Road, El Portal, CA 95318, with RSVP required. The bid deadline has been extended to March 10, 2025 at 1200 PST.
