About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 140P8525Q0005 related to replacing a secondary clarifier framework at the El Portal Waste Water Treatment Plant for Yosemite National Park. The document includes detailed technical drawings and specifications for the clarifier framework.
The Q&A addresses several technical details including: confirmation that N-69 Epoxy from Tnemec is acceptable for the hi-build epoxy coating, clarification that the bridge is welded rather than bolted at the 4-way connection, and specifications for the rake arm supports (H 3'6" x L 17'6" x D 3' x 9" 2/16, with two per side of drive cage). The drive cage dimensions are specified as H 12'4" x W 4'5" x D 5'5". The document confirms that old equipment will not require coating and that interested parties can arrange a site visit by contacting the provided NPS staff contacts. The technical drawings include detailed plan views, elevations, and component specifications for the clarifier framework assembly.
