About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for the LARO Fire Protection project addressing contractor inquiries about system repair scope and execution requirements.
The document clarifies that a lift will be required to access sprinkler heads, with one access panel available for measuring dry sprinkler head dimensions. The existing system is confirmed as a wet system with upright heads integrated into that wet system. For newly installed sprinkler heads, pressure testing requirements are detailed in a referenced PDF attachment containing a previous example. The 1-inch copper water line replacement is explicitly included as part of the fire sprinkler system repair in accordance with the stated scope of work. Final testing and inspection are mandatory prerequisites for project acceptance and payment; permit requirements follow standard commercial practice if applicable. The document does not address pricing terms, response dates, or award information.
