140P8121R0015 Answers to Solicitation Questions #3

1) Will contractor be replacing all the wire from generators to ATS’s?

It is the NPS's intent to reuse the wires that are installed underground from the generators to the ATS's but the contractor will need to advise should the installed infrastructure not be adequate for the new equipment being proposed.

2) It appears that the chilled water system has glycol in the water. In order to perform a line freeze to replace the existing chilled water isolation valves the glycol content can not be above 30%.

Please confirm that the glycol level is not above 30%.

The chilled water system is design, per the facility as-built drawings, to be 30% glycol. It is assumed that operating system glycol levels are 30% or lower. Contractor shall verify actual glycol percentage and plan work accordingly.
