About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation #140P6426Q0106, Amendment 0001, addressing a Repaint & Repair Stucco project at a Small Business facility. The document clarifies scope and execution requirements across multiple building locations and site conditions.

General site requirements specify that work must occur during 8:00 AM–4:00 PM hours, with the employee parking lot designated as the primary staging area. Exterior electrical outlets are available within 200 feet of work areas, and water access exists on the West side of the Visitor Center and West courtyard wall; all connections require coordination with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Work areas do not require fencing, branches and shrubs may be tied back for access with care to limit vegetation damage, and brick caps must be protected but are not in scope. All wood called out for restoration requires complete repainting, including wooden headers above windows and wood eaves with facia. The color scheme remains unchanged throughout.

Building-specific clarifications address the Visitor Center (all stucco is to be painted after repair; all wood eaves excluding the 2017 addition shall be painted; landscaping rocks may be scraped back and must be replaced; painted door trim shall be repainted in brown/trim color), Law Enforcement Building (all stucco receives paint following repair; south courtyard wall receives the same treatment; joints between stucco and concrete shall be caulked), Administration Building (entire building to be repainted; soffit and facia constitute the referenced "eaves"; the far West courtyard wall is not in scope), Signage (metal edge banding shall be reattached and repainted; letter and sign colors remain the same), and Wood Restoration (wood replacement will be coordinated between COR and contractor during paint preparation).
