About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for a federal contract to remove and install a new HVAC unit. The work includes disconnecting an existing geothermal system from a visitor center and replacing it with a new fluid cooler and natural gas boiler located near a maintenance building. Existing piping and heat pumps in the visitor center will also be replaced, and an attic ductless split system replaced with heat pump units. Energy recovery ventilators will be added. The National Park Service Midwest Region is the contracting agency. The amendment provides corrections to drawings, answers questions about permitting and taxes, and identifies the current fire alarm system provider as Alert Alarm Company. The bid due date is unchanged by this amendment.
