About this file
This document includes a technical specification for sump pumps and a related federal contract opportunity for replacing an HVAC system. The specification outlines performance, product, and installation requirements for submersible sump pumps and basin components. Pump types include submersible and end-suction centrifugal models. Materials and components are specified for pump casings, shafts, seals, motors, and basins. Installation and testing standards are also provided. The related federal contract opportunity is to disconnect and replace an existing geothermal HVAC system serving a visitor center with a new fluid cooler, natural gas boiler, and replacement of heat pumps and ductless split systems. The work will also include adding energy recovery ventilators. The solicitation is from the Department of the Interior National Park Service Midwest Region.
