Questions and Answers:

Q1:Is this tag, W11 correct, calling for plaster restoration on both sides of the wall?
A:For these knee walls in the attic area, the enclosed side does not require plaster
Q2:Is there any oil in the oil tanks to be removed? If so, who is responsible for the removal?
A:The tanks are full and the contractor will be responsible for removal
Q3:See sheet 92 of 150, W19 calls for plaster restoration on only one side, is this correct?
A:This is not correct. The interior stone wall has plaster on both sides.
Q4:Is this tag W17A correct calling for only one plaster finish?
A:That is correct. The other side is an unfinished utility space
Q5:Is there a specified stone type and finish for the threshold repair/replacements at doors 101.1 and 103.8?
A:These repairs/replacements will be in kind to the existing for type and finish
Q6:I don’t see any flashing details for the new retaining walls included in option D. The masonry spec references a metal drip and flexible flashing, but there is no specification for this material. Should we include a S/S drip edge and flashing at grade? Should there be flashing under the wall cap as well?
A:No, propose as shown in the drawing details
Q6:The spec’d capping stone for the retaining walls is Sahara Grey. Brandywine Quarries only offers this in an irregular flagging pattern. Is this the intent or should the caps be of a more dimensional product, like cut bluestone?
A:The caps should be more of a dimensional, uniform product
