About this file
This document is a Revised Staging Areas document for the Yosemite National Park (YOSE) 228647 Rehabilitate Tuolumne Meadows Water Distribution System project (contract 140P2025R0062), dated 8/19/2025. The document outlines seven specific staging areas for the contractor to use during the project, including May Lake Quarry, Tuolumne Meadows Concessionaire Stables Parking Lot, Parsons Lodge Parking Lot, Gas Station Parking Lot, Ranger Station Shoulder, Water Treatment Plant, and Upper Dog Lake Parking Lot.
Key requirements include: contractors may use these areas to stockpile materials, store pipe supplies, park heavy equipment, set up concrete batch plants, and place field office trailers. The document emphasizes that the contractor must restore all parking lots to their original condition after staging. Some notable constraints include maintaining access for National Park Service water operators at the Water Treatment Plant and ensuring enough space for trailer loading/unloading at the Tuolumne Meadows Concessionaire Stables. The document supersedes all previous contract documents regarding staging areas and is part of Addendum 2 responding to contractor questions.
