This is a Scope of Work document for the replacement of the HVAC heating and cooling system at the Moran Entrance Station in Grand Teton National Park, located in Moran, Wyoming. The project involves removal and disposal of an existing failing propane furnace and evaporative cooler, followed by installation of new equipment consisting of one Tutco 15kW Electric Heat Strip (Model # 81-24738-00, Brand Name or Equal) and one Carrier 3-ton Fan Coil unit (Model # FG5ANXC36L00, Brand Name or Equal) to serve the approximately 1,000-square-foot building. The contractor must reuse existing serviceable ductwork, repair or replace damaged ductwork as needed, and pull new 240-volt single-phase power from the main breaker panel approximately 18-20 feet to the mechanical room to supply the new units with all required electrical components in compliance with the National Electrical Code.

The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and personal protective equipment at its sole cost and expense. Work must maintain positive building pressure to prevent vehicle exhaust infiltration, include controls updates for makeup air and damper operation, and provide complete system startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning per manufacturer specifications. The contractor must also patch drywall and siding, perform daily cleanup, handle refrigerant recovery per EPA Section 608 requirements, and remove all debris from the park. All work shall be completed by October 30, 2026, performed Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative. Final acceptance requires demonstration of fully operational heating and cooling systems, functional controls, positive pressure verification, and submission of equipment submittals, product data, shop drawings, manufacturer instructions, testing documentation, and operation and maintenance manuals. The contractor provides a one-year warranty on workmanship from the date of government acceptance, with no government-furnished materials provided.
