2026 Ely Seasonal Lodging Statement of work:
The Ely BLM District Program requires a minimum of nine (9) SINGLE occupancy rooms for seasonal employees. The rooms are required for an approximate period, covering June 9, through October 30, 2026 (145 days). The rooms will be the employees’ primary residence during their temporary employment during the 2026 fire season.
At this time, it is anticipated there will be nine (9) seasonal employees. In addition, some employees may leave their positions at various times during the period of performance, however the number of early departures is unknown at this time. Given the fact that employees will leave early, the lodging options proposed should allow for early departures, with the ability to reduce the number of rooms as needed. Any costs associated with an early termination must be clearly identified in the quote submitted, including the lead time required for departure/termination notices. Costs/Fees for early departure/termination will be evaluated as part of the overall costs for the potential award amount.
The employees may be gone for periods of time ranging from a few days to twenty-one days on fire assignments.
