About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a trash collection contract solicitation. The document addresses two key clarifications regarding the scope of work and service requirements.
Amendment 0001 supersedes original solicitation language by establishing that the Government will furnish four 4-cubic-yard dumpsters as government-furnished property, eliminating the contractor's responsibility to provide or deliver dumpsters. Offerors should quote only for collection services, not dumpster delivery. Regarding service frequency, the solicitation establishes that contractors will perform 16 scheduled truck service visits per year (64 individual dumpster collections across the four dumpsters), based on the seasonal schedule requiring twice-monthly service in May, June, September, and October, and weekly service in July and August. This 16-visit annual quantity supersedes the 24 service events/year referenced in Technical Exhibit 3 of the Statement of Work and governs both pricing and performance requirements.

Text version
1. Amendment 0001 cancels Line 00010 and states that the Government will provide the four 4-cubic-yard dumpsters and that contractors should not quote dumpster delivery. The original SOW and Factor 1 evaluation language still state that the contractor will provide four dumpsters. For quotation and technical acceptability purposes, may offerors rely on Amendment 0001 as superseding those original dumpster-provision requirements and affirm service of the Government-furnished dumpsters instead?
a. Yes utilize Amendment 001. The dumpers are government furnished property.
2. The seasonal schedule and updated price schedule appear to require twice-monthly service in May, June, September, and October and weekly service in July and August, which equates to 16 scheduled truck service visits per year (64 individual dumpster collections across four dumpsters). Technical Exhibit 3 of the SOW, however, lists an estimated 24 service events/year. Please confirm which annual service-event quantity governs pricing and performance.
a. It will be 16 service visit per year.
