About this file

This Questions & Answers document for Amendment 004 of solicitation 140G0125Q0052 addresses two key inquiries regarding the CERC A3 Single Phase Electrical Panel Upgrade project. The document clarifies power disruption requirements, stating that outages shall not exceed 24 hours per instance, with two disruptions planned: one for old disconnect removal and one for new panelboard installation, scheduled at least five business days apart.

The Q&A also addresses timeline concerns regarding the 10-day start and 14-day completion requirement specified in Box 11 of Form 1442. The response indicates that quotes should factor in material lead times, particularly for breakers and panels, which will be considered in the award timing. This electrical upgrade project at the Columbia Environmental Research Center involves replacing a 1200-amp disconnect with a new 600-volt 1200-amp distribution panel, with an estimated project value between $100,000 and $250,000.
