About this file

This document is a Certification Relating to the Hardening of State Government, specifically pursuant to Executive Order GA-48, involving a college's procurement requirements. The certification requires respondents to confirm they are not associated with entities listed in specific National Defense Authorization Act sections, not owned by governments on the U.S. Department of Commerce's foreign adversaries list, and not controlled by regulatory bodies from such countries. The document provides a binary choice for respondents to agree or disagree with these terms, with space for signature, printed name, title, and date.

The certification is designed to prevent the college from entering into new contracts, contract extensions, or renewals with companies that meet the specified criteria, which appear to be part of a broader state government initiative to mitigate potential cybersecurity and national security risks. The document focuses on restricting business relationships with entities potentially linked to foreign adversaries, reflecting a strategic approach to protecting state government interests and infrastructure through careful vendor selection and screening.
