A site visit shall take place on January 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The site visit shall begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Potential Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. If a potential offeror has questions after the site visit, questions must be submitted to contract specialist Ranae Armstrong at ranae.armstrong@nist.gov with a CC to contracting officer Don Collie at Donald.collie@nist.gov no later than 12:00pm ET on January 22, 2025. Any question(s) submitted after the question submission deadline will not be accepted and a Government response will not be provided.

SITE VISIT SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
1. All visitors to the NIST Campus are responsible to know and follow all safety guidelines.
2. Vendors who are planning to attend the site visit shall e-mail their intention to attend to Ranae Armstrong, at ranae.armstrong@nist.gov, not later than 12:00pm on January 14, 2025, with the following information:
a. Company name
b. Names of all individuals attending the site visit
c. Email for each attendee.
d. Phone number for each attendee.
e. Country of Citizenship of all individuals attending the site visit.
For non-US Citizens, the following additional information will be required:
a. Title
b. Employer/Sponsor
c. Address
It is the sole responsibility of each Contractor to send a request for site visit registration. Failure to register will result in individuals being denied access to NIST, and subsequently the site visit.
3. Any visitor bringing a vehicle onto the NIST Campus must present the vehicle’s registration card.
4. Vendors must pick up a Visitor's Badge at the Visitor's Registration Center located at the Main Gate (Gate A, off Bureau Drive) Please ensure all individuals bring photo identification or they will be denied access to the facility. Not all state-issued driver's licenses can be accepted by NIST. Under the REAL ID Act of 2005, federal agencies, including NIST, can only accept REAL ID-compliant state driver’s licenses. NIST currently accepts other forms of federally issued identification in lieu of a state-issued driver's license, including an original passport, passport card, DOD Common Access Card (CAC), Veteran ID, Federal Agency HSPD-12 IDs, Military Dependent ID, Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC), and TSA Trusted Traveler ID. For each non-U.S. citizen visiting the NIST campus, the form NIST-1260 must be fully completed and submitted. The information submitted will be used to conduct a routine background check of that individual, which must be completed before they can enter the NIST campus.
