About this file

This is Amendment 0002 to solicitation 1333MF26Q0040, issued by NMFS Field Delegates on July 17, 2026, with an effective date of July 17, 2026. The amendment answers clarifying questions from potential quoters regarding hazardous waste disposal services at two facilities: Sandy Hook and Milford.

For the Sandy Hook Facility, the amendment confirms that offerors must include pricing for sampling of 4 unknown drums (possible antifreeze) and 65 gallons of potentially contaminated water, both in accordance with Statement of Work CLIN 0002 Task 1 regarding Hazard Categorization field testing. The Government will relocate hazardous materials from a staircase in an attic area to the Central Accumulation Area prior to shipment. Material in Lab 212 is excluded as it remains in use. Three drums of Mercuric Chloride solution are identified with specific labels provided. For the Milford Facility, a maximum of 10 bio sharps containers require disposal, and universal waste storage contains one drum of anti-freeze/coolant, two drums of used oil, one drum of drained used oil filters, and one drum of gasoline. The closing date for receipt of proposals remains unchanged at July 23, 2026, at 09:00 AM EST. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment by completing Items 8 and 15 and returning one signed copy. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
