About this file
This document is a Scope of Work for the Dallas Independent School District (Dallas ISD) Student Activities Department, focusing on supporting extracurricular activities and competitions across multiple grade levels (K-12). The scope covers comprehensive resources and services for 12 distinct programs including Academic Decathlon, Chess, Esports, Debate, and Mahjong, among others. The contract is structured as a three-year agreement with potential two one-year extensions, not to exceed five years total. The district seeks vendors to provide instructional materials, digital and physical resources, equipment, supplies, incentives, promotional items, audiovisual services, tournament management, professional development, and consulting services for these student activities.
The procurement is funded through local, state, federal, and grant sources, with an open invitation for vendors to participate, including sole source providers. The solicitation follows federal procurement regulations under Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations Part 200 and is designed to be flexible, supporting the evolving needs of district campuses on an "as-needed" basis. Specific vendor requirements include capabilities such as managing tournaments for up to 800 students, providing clicker technology for academic competitions, offering curriculum and training resources, creating custom materials like backdrops and apparel, and supporting various competition formats ranging from in-person to virtual platforms across multiple academic and extracurricular domains.
