o Yes

The Attachment 2 DSR‐VI‐STC‐401 Final_Sponsor Package rev 03232023.pdf still mentioning in the proposed action “Stabilize the scouring area with 30 ft with rip rap downstream right bank”.

o According to the solicitation and SOW, the original submitted DSR for site VI- STC-401 include a 30 ft riprap stream bank protection. After evaluating with the Contracting Officer, the riprap component needs to be removed from the Site Specific information to maintain the services as debris removal (clearing and snagging) only.

o The original riprap proposed action was changed to stabilize the scoured area with the available soil from the site clearing or hauling suitable material of site for use as earth fill with compaction and protection as specified in the SOW with seeding, fertilizing, and mulching. The area shall be cleared, backfill material shall be obtained from existing channel clearing and shaping. Earth-fill is required to be compacted to a density equivalent to that of the surrounding fill. The work also requires providing and installing seeding, fertilizing, and mulching in all excavated, fill, and disturbed areas as specified in the SOW.

The sponsor (DPNR) is responsible to identify the trees to be removed.

o Yes o The contractor will be responsible to remove and properly dispose of all downed trees, logs, stumps, brush, tops, blockages, rubbish, sediment, and debris (organic and inorganic) deposited in and adjacent to the channel; inside culverts/pipes and under bridges including live trees and roots obstructing water course inside channel bottom and stream banks after sponsor approval (DPNR).

o For quoting purpose consider the removal and disposal of six (6) live trees with a diameter greater than 6 inches and eight (8) live trees with a diameter less than 6 inches on the site VI-STC-401 downstream of the culverts.

o For site VI-STC-400 consider the removal and disposal of one (1) live tree with a diameter less than 6 inches on site upstream of the culverts.
