About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) memorandum for United States Forest Service Solicitation 12970224R0024, addressing the Trimmer & Auberry Station and Work Center project. The memorandum provides clarification for Phase 2 vendors, specifically noting page limitations for proposal volumes (Volume 2A is limited to 50 pages, Volume 2C to 20 pages, and Volume 2B has no page restrictions) and confirming that all buildings within the project scope are intended to be solar ready.
The solicitation involves a Design-Build Contract for constructing new administrative buildings to replace facilities lost during the Creek Fire. The Design-Build Contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive services including labor, materials, geotechnical investigation, construction administration, and creating multi-disciplinary design documents. The project requires complete construction drawings, a project manual, schedule of values, construction cost estimates, and designs compliant with building codes, agency space policies, and security requirements. The Q&A period has concluded, and any additional questions will be referred to existing documentation unless the Contracting Officer formally extends the period.
