About this file
This document appears to be a set of questions and answers related to a federal contract opportunity for the Romero Camuesa & Arroyo Seco Retaining Wall Replacements project.
The project consists of removing and replacing failed retaining walls at two sites on National Forest System Roads in the Los Padres National Forest in California. The required work includes structural excavation, installation of rip-rap and mechanically stabilized earth walls, roadway reconditioning, and erosion control measures. Two site visits are scheduled for April 15-16, 2024, with contractors meeting at a fire station and campground. Attendance at the site visits is encouraged but not mandatory. The estimated start date for the project is June 3, 2024, and the estimated magnitude or budget has been added to the SAM.gov posting. Plans for the project can be accessed through the provided link.
