Question#1:

Wondering on this map is there a way to reference the pictures to the points on the map? My question is some of the points say >4” log out does that mean there is 1 tree there or is that multiple trees that are >4”.

Answer#1:

The greater than 4” tree pay items, 912(14) is a place holders. Imaginary work right now. The entire trail was cleared last summer. There were two leaners near the trail in October that will come down over the winter which will need to be cleared. I am guessing there will be more burned trees which come down over the winter, so I just put in the nine pay items to hopefully cover it. I did this so hopefully we don’t have to modify the task order a bunch to add one tree at a time. The small trees in the pictures don’t count towards the nine pay items. They get removed as a part of reconstructing the trail for the specified segment where there is a debris flow (mp 2.37, mp 2.44, 2.47 and 8.07) .

I didn’t really want to put in clearing/log out by the mile since the trail was cleared last year, but for future task orders with clearing/log out it will be paid for by the mile
