About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 127EAY26Q0064, issued by the USDA for South Zone District Janitorial Services on 20 May 2026.

The document clarifies five key procedural and technical matters regarding the solicitation. It confirms the correct quote submission email address as Kari.Hughes@usda.gov and authorizes proposed subcontractors to attend the May 26 site visit on behalf of the prime offeror. For CLIN 2004 Option Year 2, the Mt. Whitney Eastern Sierra Visitor Center service frequency is clarified as two days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), not one day per week as initially stated in the schedule. The Past Performance Questionnaire (Attachment 5) is required only from the prime contractor and not from critical subcontractors performing 20 percent or more of the work. Finally, offerors may develop their own Quality Control Program format provided it addresses inspections, corrective actions, and customer complaints; no preferred template is mandated.
