Subject: GAOA-Echo Amphitheater Recreation Site Development Phase II Solicitation No. 127EAX24R0005 Request for Information (RFI) Responses: Attachment 2.

This document shall serve as the second round of official response to questions provided by potential bidders for the subject project.

Questions:

1. Per the drawings the electrical transformer will be buried underground but this will require the placement of a concrete transformer vault. However; there is no information on the vault dimensions nor bedding material. Shall the electrical contractor provide the vault or will NORA furnish and could the National Parks provide a drawing for this vault to approximate burial dimensions?

RESPONSE: The underground transformer is not actually buried. The terminology used by the electric company is misleading, however the transformer rests on level, stable ground at existing grade unless otherwise specified by the electric company. Please reference the photo below for an example of an “underground” transformer.

NOTE the intention of the photo above is for visual aid only. The local electric company (NORA Electric) already has a unit procured for this project, and the contractor who is awarded the job will be responsible for coordinating with them at the appropriate time.

2. Can the site visit sing-in sheet be provided?

RESPONSE: Included as Attachment 3 to the amendment.

3. Section M - titled Evaluation Factors for award has “subsection M1 – Provisions” blank; will this section be added via amendment, or will it not apply?

Response: N/A Evaluation factors are as specified in M.3.

4. Section 452.215-71 – “Instructions for the preparation of Proposals” does not have specific proposal delivery method (Electronic or hardcopy); will the proposals be emailed to the POC's emails listed on the SF1442 or will there be an alternate delivery method (hardcopy or upload via web portal)?

Response: Email bid proposals in accordance with Block 8 of SF-1442.

5. Is Payment and performance bonding to be added into Mobilization?

For Clarification, there is a 20% Bid Guarantee required correct?

Response: Bid Guarantee is required in the amount of 20% of the bid.
