About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Official Responses for the GAOA Scenic Byway Recreation Site Rehabilitation project (Solicitation 127EAW25R0024). The RFI contains 48 detailed clarification requests and responses from the United States Forest Service regarding various project specifications, including installations at multiple campground and vista locations such as Fish Creek, Soda Springs, Bowler Campground, Mile High Vista, and others. Key clarifications involve vault toilet buildings, trash enclosures, concrete work, signage, site preparations, and other infrastructure improvements.
The project is a small business set-aside with an estimated value between $5-10 million, managed by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. Contractors are advised that RFI responses will be posted on sam.gov, telephone requests are not accepted, and the contract completion timeline is 150 calendar days from notice to proceed. Notable changes include updates to drawings, schedule of items, and specification details, with responses addressing discrepancies between plan sheets, price sheets, and technical specifications across multiple project sites.
