About this file

This is a Questions and Answers amendment to a federal solicitation for an Aircraft Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

The document addresses two key inquiries regarding the contract 12760426Q0005-2, issued by the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Procurement and Property Services, IT Contract Branch. The first question clarified that Attachment 2 (Bill of Materials) specifies 50 user licenses in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, not aircraft quantities. The Government currently operates 23 active aircraft with plans to add 4 additional aircraft on CAMPS subscription for a total of 27 aircraft. The second question requested clarification on the legacy system requirements and facility locations. The Government identified 7 facilities serving as home locations for aircraft: Juneau, Alaska; Redmond, Oregon; Missoula, Montana; Redding, California; Ogden, Utah; Ely, Minnesota; and Broomfield, Colorado. The Government emphasized that while these are the physical home bases, aircraft are seldom stationed there and online access to aircraft data is required. In response to the contractor's request for additional time, the Government extended the proposal due date to Monday, May 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.

12760426Q0005-2 Aircraft Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Amendment 01

1. Question: Attachment 2: Bill of Materials there is in the QTY. 35 prefilled in. However, in the aircraft description there are 23 active aircraft with 4 on CAMPS subscription to be added later… for a total of 27. Would you like the Bill of Materials to stay at the pre-filled number of 35 or 27?

Response: The Bill of Materials refers to user licenses, not number of aircraft. Please see revised Attachment 1 Bill of Materials which lists 50 user licenses in accordance with the PWS.

The Government intends to have a total of 27 aircraft but currently has a total of 23.

2. Question: Please provide clarification on paragraph 3, page 3 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), specifically the “Legacy” section.

a. Please confirm the total number of facilities included in this requirement and provide the location of each facility.

b. Additionally, would the Government consider granting an extension to the current proposal due date to allow sufficient time to incorporate this information into our submission?

Response:

a. The Government has 7 facilities at the locations listed below. While these are the home locations of the physical aircraft, they are seldom there. The Government will need to have online access to the aircraft data.

Junea Alaska Redmond Oregan Missoula Montana Redding California Ogden Utah Ely Minnesota Broomfield Colorado

b. The due date is extended to Monday, May 5, 2026, at 3pm EST.
