The project requires design-build construction services to establish livestock handling infrastructure including construction of 1,550 linear feet of livestock-grade fencing, two holding pens (Pen 1: 80 ft × 190 ft; Pen 2: 60 ft × 220 ft), and a 300 linear foot chute system. Additional requirements include two shelters with minimum interior dimensions of 12 ft × 15 ft, passive and powered ventilation, electrical utility service, sanitary flooring with drainage systems, site grading, concrete walkways, water lines with 25 to 30-gallon troughs per pen, and upgrades to an existing 80 ft × 80 ft covered training area with 1,500 linear feet of metal chute fencing, four simulated holding pens, and 13 gates. The contracting agency is USDA APHIS, Minneapolis. The estimated project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000, with a firm-fixed price construction purchase order anticipated. Completion is required by October 30, 2026, with work to commence immediately upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 31, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET.
