You have the fixtures called out in the casework section but they are placed under plumbing with the lavatory fixtures. [This is typical for laboratories.] They show a pegboard and noted that it is the casework. When you look, it isn't there. [Pegboards are noted in Section 12 31 00-2.5.1. Per Elev 3/A-412, they are the width of the chase. They can also be scaled from the elevations.] So I am not sure what the size and type it is. Back on the laboratory faucets, they call out in the specification a foot control faucet. On the drawing they show a faucet with wrist handles. [Drawings are architectural and do not necessarily represent what plumbing has specified.] Last thing for now is the countertops and sinks. This is strange too. They have the countertop has it own specification section and sink the sink is listed under the plumbing specification. [The countertop specification is typical for UFGS specs that USDA requires.] The sink is noted as a white epoxy. [Correct. They are separate from the countertop for flexibility of suppliers and bidders. Could be from the casework supplier or separate.] One other thing. You have ADA height rolling cabinets with the tables. Those cabinets will not fit under the tables according to BMC. [Tables are adjustable height; cabinets and tables are to be from same manufacturer and will work together. According to BMC’s online casework catalog, they don’t offer an adjustable-height table systems or rolling cabinets. BMC needs to confirm they meet the needs of the project as shown/specified.]
