Text version
1. It was stated that there are floor drains required for each section of the greenhouse. Are these floor drains to be connected to the sanitary sewer system or are they considered stormwater and simply discharged outside of the footprint of the building? Stormwater.
1. With regard to the drawings – its noted that there are not any more drawings to be provided by USDA and the scope of work is looking for “engineered drawings” to be provided which is mentioned right after the slab design sentence.
1. The engineered drawings being requested are they for specifically the slab only (structural only drawings) or for all the systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing as well? As-builts for all systems.
1. Are civil engineering drawings needed as part of the engineered drawing request? Yes
1. Is a geotechnical investigation needed as would typically used by the structural engineer for the purposes of designing the slab and associated grade beams for the split face block? Our assumption is that a geotechnical report is not currently available for the project. No geotech report needed.
1. Are you expecting As-Builts at the completion of the project to include the underground locations of the electrical, water, sewer? Yes
1. How long is the review period expected to be for the review of the engineered drawings indicated above? Two weeks.
